About Kelly Ilse

Kelly considers herself to be an advocate for her clients and strives to make the significant event of buying or selling a home simple and personal. Her goal is to exceed people’s expectations by communicating effectively, creatively solving problems, and using the knowledge she has gained in the industry to maximize her client’s investment. Kelly and her teammates, Sarah Thomas and Danielle Reali, at Kindred Realty Group share a passion for helping people navigate real estate transactions with ease. They have a unique, collaborative approach to every transaction that allows them to focus on their individual strengths and provide exceptional service.

Born in raised in St. Louis, Kelly was intrigued by real estate from an early age. Rather than working a typical summer job during college, she earned her license and worked as a buyer agent for her mom during school breaks. After graduating from The University of Kansas and moving to Austin in 2003, she quickly started planting roots and building a community.

Kelly worked in sales and sales management for 8 years before her 7 year tenure at a leading urban homebuilder in Austin. She gained invaluable knowledge of every stage of construction and confidently led hundreds of home buyers through the lengthy process of building a home.

Kelly lives with her husband and two little girls in Zilker, where she takes advantage of the local parks and walkability.  She’s very involved in the PTA at Zilker Elementary, she loves to travel, catch live music and host her friends for holidays.
